Our Dream

Kelly and Rob are hippies at heart, firm believers of following your dreams and adventures, if you don`t follow them them you never know and what`s the worst that can happen?
The dream, very different to the reality.
The dream was to start an adventure, which it is, to learn new things, yes indeed, to gain experience in living in a new country, gain experience in being part of a new community and culture, gain experience in buying our forever home, gain experience in rebuilding a home to a standard that we can share with others and be proud of our work and all within these two big words in the renovation world , Time and Budget. We did however have one thing that stalled us somewhat ....Covid, who knew?
But in this time we have discovered alot about ourselves in this process. We are both creative and full of Ideas, wannabe artisans, we love creating things with items we have, the wood from our trees, the nature in our garden and upcycling old furniture. We will showcase these throughout our site and Blog. We have learnt to manage our stresses throughout the process so far, support each other and listen. We have learnt that we can live through this together and come out the other side. We hope that by writing this we can provide insight into living through a renovation, answer questions about the process, but most of all provide some inspiration for those considering embarking on your own Grand Design, We hope you enjoy our story and continue to follow us, so
